The United States Tennis Association (USTA) is proud to announce that Walnut Creek Country Club will be Tournament Director and Host for a Men’s Pro Circuit Futures Tournament October 15 - 25, 2010. This will be the Clubs's fifth year hosting the tournament and its second year as the Tournament Director. This event is a $15,000 prize money event and will feature singles and doubles matches daily over a three week period. During the three weeks we will have numerous community events, daily clinics, corporate challenges, Pro Am and Pro Sponsor Events.

This tournament is one of only 29 professional tournaments throughout the United States and features men that will quickly rise to the upper levels of the ATP tour, play in the Grand Slam Championships, and represent their country at the Davis Cup and the in Olympics. Ranked between 150 and 400 in the world, and representing over 100 countries, tournament participants will demonstrate a high level of play and provide exciting entertainment for spectators. Andre Agassi, James Blake, Taylor Dent, and Todd Martin are only a few examples of men who got their start on the USTA Pro Circuit Futures Tour.

USTA Men's Circuit
There are two types of men's events on the USTA Pro Circuit: Futures and Challengers. Each event has 32 players in the main singles draw and 16 teams competing in doubles.
